Trip Itinerary

9:00 AM: Start with "Stare Miasto"
Old Town that was destroyed almost completely and restored after the WWII by the participation of the whole Polish nation. Walking in the narrow streets, stop at the Old market square, see the statue of “Sirenka” the symbol of Warsaw, which is depicted on the coat of arms of the city. Next stop at the panoramic platform with the view of Vistula River and the new city. Continue to so called “Nowe Miasto” (New Town) outside the old city wall and the Barbacan. See the house of Maria Sklodowska-Curie, twice Nobel prize-winner. Finish our walking in the old part by the impressive memorial of 1944 Warsaw Uprising.
10 AM: Visit the Royal Castle
Visit the Royal Castle, a historic and architecture monument of Polish capital, built in baroque and classicist style. Today it houses an art and history museum, having such masterpieces as Rembrandt drawings and Jan Matejko great historical canvases. After a coffee break walking along the most beautiful Warsaw street “Krakowske Pszedmeisce”. We will stop and speak at the monument of the greatest Polish poet Adam Mickiewicz, see Herbert Hoover square, look at the statue of Nicolaus Copernicus in front of the Academy of Sciences.
12:00 AM: Continue on the main street
Next stop at Pilsudski square to get acquainted with the life of Jozef Pilsudski, the head of Poland in the interwar period. Then put tribute to the Tomb of Unknown soldier, and admire the Saxon Garden, founded in the late 17th century. We will pass Warsaw University and Presidential Palace, that once belonged to prince Radziwill family; here young Frederic Chopin played his first public concert. Continue to the Holy Cross Church, where an urn containing the heart of Frédéric Chopin was immured in a pillar after his death in Paris in 1849.
14:00 PM In the New city
In the afternoon we will dive back to the center to see the huge Palace of Culture and Science, the gift of the Soviet Union to the people of Poland, a notable example of the Stalinist architecture. From the height of the 30th floor one can enjoy an amazing view of the city. Continue our sightseeing to The Romantic Lazienki Park adjoining the magnificent Belvedere Palace. Admire Art-Nouveau style Chopin Statue. Finish our city tour at Praga Koneser Center – a complex of residential, office, cultural and entertainment facilities located on the premises of the former Warsaw Vodka factory “Koneser” in Praga district in Warsaw.
In the evening
In the evening we offer to visit Multimedia Fountain Park, located at the foot of the Old Town, and to watch a spectacular show of light, sound and water. Optional visits: National Museum, University Library,Chopin museum
